Hey!
I can give you the brief outline of the quest line, where it is relevant to the lore.
It starts out with the Horde, at Garrosh's command, doing archeological research in Pandaria. In the process, you find a tablet, which references the Divine Bell, a powerful magical artifact. Garrosh becomes intent on finding the whereabouts of this artifact, while the other leaders of the Horde (namely Vol'jin and Lor'themar) are a bit skeptical and hesitant to follow what appears to be Garrosh on a quest for power and blood.
Vol'jin basically enlists you to work as a double agent, serving Garrosh openly, and serving him, and what he claims is the true spirit of the Horde, covertly. He sends you mail every now and then as you progress on your quest line, and he is kept up to date with your progress.
Eventually, the location of the Divine Bell is found, and you are sent to retrieve it. However, you are late, as the Alliance has already taken the Bell, and you are left to kill a few alliance NPCs and accept defeat, for the moment.
Undeterred, however, you are assigned (presumably by Garrosh, although it is not explicitly stated) to go and retrieve the bell from Darnassus. You enter the city through a portal, and you gain a stealth mechanic that allows you to move around the city undetected, as long as you don't get too close to the guards. Once you find the bell, you right click it and "steal" it back for the Horde.
After this, Jaina goes all nuts on the Sunreavers in Dalaran, who helped you steal the Divine Bell, and essentially goes on a genocidal rampage against them. You are sent to Dalaran to save as many Sunreavers as you can from the carnage. Once it is done, you go back to Silvermoon city, where you report to Lor'themar Theron. In your dialogue with him, it is suggested by an NPC that he would make a fine warchief, something to which he replies (paraphrasing) "It may well come to that.". He then calls for the army to be assembled.
Finally, once you reach Exalted, Garrosh calls you to witness the first usage of the Divine Bell, which he hopes will grant him and the rest of Horde present immense power. However, Anduin Wrynn shows up to stop him. Firstly, as each and every one of the Horde members around Garrosh fall to the corruption of the Bell, you must slay them. Afterwards, just as Garrosh is about to be empowered himself, Anduin Wrynn stops the event by using a special mallet, crafted by the Pandaren, on the Bell. Doing this angers Garrosh, who smashes the Bell, which then crumbles on top of Anduin. Garrosh exclaims that he is pleased to have killed Anduin Wrynn, although Anduin is actually not displaying as "dead" in-game, instead being on 1 hit point.
Thus the quest line ends.
I also recommend, if you want, to check our guide for the faction, and just read the quest text of all the quests in the chain. That should give you a nice idea
