WRUP: A Very Brady Christmas

I'm not really sure who wins Christmas, Joe Perez (who wrote this little poem) or Carol Brady.

T'was the WRUP before Winter's Vale
and all through the land
No PC's were raiding
for gift giving, soon, was planned

The pandaren all frantic
with food and with brew.
For the new racial guests
that means me and you.

Banquets and tea
to be consumed by the masses
To share season's greetings
regardless of classes

May your Winter's Veil be spledid
be you human or orc
filled with cheer and good tidings
and delicious Mushan Rib pork.

I'm going to go with Carol Brady, she's hotter than Joe (sorry Joe, it was close though; potentially closer than it should be).

Read on for what we're playing around the virtual office! This week's bonus question is what people want on their mains. Maybe RNG Santa will be nice!

Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) This weekend I'll run my LFRs and hit up a bunch of Borderlands 2. The Steam wintersale has got me, again, of course.

For Christmas all my warlock wants is a fracken epic weapon. Really tired of this blue...

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I'm spending the weekend hanging with the family, maybe getting a little writing in. I've been idly considering leveling an Alliance character up to 90 just for the purpose of Operation Shieldwall - I think I have enough stuff done with my main that I can make that happen. Bonus question: More dailies along the lines of the Dominance Offensive, please? Loved that storyline.

Chase Hasbrouck (@alarondruid, @alaronmonk) Just received Torchlight II as a gift, so will probably fire that up (along with Diablo 3, to do some comparisons). For WoW, I think I'll try to score a Brawler's Guild invite to give that a go.

Bonus: Tabard storage! I don't use them, but can't bear to throw them away.

Dan Desmond (@Antigen_) It depends what I pick up from the Steam sale, if anything. I'm thinking about Torchlight 2 and Dishonored, and perhaps Assassin's Creed 3 if that goes on sale at all. Other than that, I'd like to keep pecking at Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning but I'm not sure I can torture myself like that in good conscience.

My paladin really wants Justicebringer so I can transmog that ugly Shin'ka axe, but I think she'd settle on farming out an entire set of T10 instead. Don't tell her I told you this, but she's not getting any of that.

Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb) I will be focusing on capping VP on my main for Wrathion, as well as leveling my Horde Paladin on the side in hopes of seeing the Dominance Offensive questline for myself in the near future. I also plan to bring out my Asari Valkyrie on ME3 MP for a bit. I've decided I want the Council Operative banner, so she'll be equipped with a Disciple and blowing Reapers up all over the place.

Bonus Question: I want my Sha-Touched Weapon please. I've had this legendary gem burning a hole in my Royal Satchel for way too long.

Dawn Moore (@dawnwow) I won't be raiding this weekend, but I'm going to a Christmas themed murder mystery dinner. I'm playing an elf whose husband was run over by a reindeer, and I'm intent on finding and punishing the culprit, and anyone who might be undermining the investigation.

For Winter Veil, my main character has only one implausible wish ... To be able to play cross faction and cross realm with her beloved windwalker monk. You'd think for Winter Veil, the Horde and the Alliance could put aside their differences and enjoy the holiday together. Maybe share a pandaren beer or two? It would be like the Christmas Truce that took place during World War I.

Joe Perez (@lodurzj) our guild just celebrated the season with an in game secret Greatfather Winter, and we all had a wonderful time. this weekend I will be doing some dailies and continuing to figure out this whole elemental thing. Oh and stalking Galleon, but I'm pretty sure he's a lie.

Lodur just wants to kill Galleon and get a nice feathered helm from him :(

Lisa Poisso (@lisapoisso) Little to no gaming expected; we'll be celebrating the winter solstice tonight and then dancing around with our presents all weekend. Bonus question: My shadow priest would like a really sexy cowl to jumpstart this whole dark and purplish transmog concept.

Matt Low (@matticus) Just bought Torchlight 2. Tis the season for Steam sales and they are wrecking havoc on my wallet. Haven't had a chance to give Sleeping Dogs a go yet, but I heard positive things about it. On top of that, more League of Legends practice as I figure out who to play and what to build in anticipation of season 3!

Bonus: Not quite sure what my character wants. Maybe a nice new staff. Or a new mount.

Matt Rossi (@MattWRossi) No idea if we're raiding or not this weekend, a lot of call offs. If we do raid, it'll probably be MSV heroic modes.

I want Armageddon. No, not the event, the sword from Naxx 25. It is the one sword that eludes me.

Matt Walsh (@Rhidach) A little Civ 5, a little Borderlands 2, and a little Tomb Raider 2 for a quick nostalgia high. I expect, though, I won't be able to get much gaming done with all the holiday stuff going on.

My tank would really like a +stamina gem from Wrathion.

Olivia Grace (@oliviadgrace) This weekend, I'll be bringing up my last late-eighties character to 90, giving me a rabble of tanks and healers/RDPS, and then start to think about whether I want to level my mage or my warlock next. DPS are the painful ones for me, as I have to quest, and I don't much care for questing. I'm hoping that I'll be able to navigate my way through Pandaria and see something new, though. Other than that, I recently downloaded The Walking Dead, all the episodes, and that's stupidly addictive. I always say I'm going to play Borderlands 2, and never end up doing so, so why not add that into the mix?!

Bonus Question: A rep tabard. A rep tabard. A rep tabard.

Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel) I'll be playing a brewmaster monk as part of my duo with The Spawn, who is playing a priest. She doesn't like fighting, but loves questing, so healer/tank combo FTW! Otherwise, it's my birthday this weekend and I plan to do some seriously responsible drinking. Or will that be responsibly serious drinking? Regardless, there will be Boddingtons on tap and that's all that matters.

I would like Greatfather Winter to tell me which character IS my main character.
