Around Azeroth: A send-off to the happy hunting grounds

Hunter and WoW blogger Ghemit of The Pride of Stonewall on Proudmoore (US-A) unexpectedly lost his husband and partner of four years, Elloric, on New Year's Day. His guild and Twitter friends organized an in-game memorial for Elloric a few days later. "This showing of love and support shows this is not just a game, but a fantastic community that supports our members when needed," writes Ghemit. "As @notanna from femtaur.com wrote, 'WoW is not a hive of scum and villainy. It is a place of people and relationships. We are a community and I am proud to be a part of it.' I think the picture truly illustrates that."
